SHECUT CEMETERY John Fraser Shecut, Pvt GEORGIA CAPT BARNES CO 1 GA INF Confederate States Army 1838-1893 Tommie Eugenia Shecut Safe in the arms (Broken stone) This cemetery sits by the right of way right beside Hwy 470, East of I-75 , just West of Sumterville, on the South side of the road .  It is approximately 10' x 10' and has four posts at each corner, with a cable strung around the posts.  It is very visible from Hwy 471.  There are only 2 markers in it and unlikely that more exists there because of the small size of the cemetery.  Someone, possibly the VA or a veteran group does place a flag on the grave/graves because of the CSA veteran buried here.
