Joseph H. Kerrick is one of St. Petersburg’s younger business men. After filling positions of importance in his home state, he came to this city, saw the possibilities, became filled with the enthusiasm which St. Petersburg’s rapid advancement in big business interests produces and remained. Today he is sales manager of the First Security Bond and Mortgage Company and is associated with C. Buck Turner in the real estate business.
Mr. Kerrick was born in Towanda, PA, 32 years ago. After graduating from Lafayette Collage, Easton, PA, he engaged in the road construction business. When the war broke out he became engineer in charge of yard construction at the United States Midville steel plant. Later he was resident engineer for the state highway department in his home state and supervising engineer of distribution for the Scranton Sand Company, Scranton, PA.
He came to St. Petersburg two years ago next month, as manager of the West Coast Telephone Company. When the plant was sold, Mr. Kerrick became associated with Mr. Turner and when the First Security Bond and Mortgage Company was formed he became sales manager.

Josephine. He resides at E-235 Fourteenth avenue north. He is active in
affairs, has served on various committees for the chamber of commerce,
Shriner, Knight Templar, member of the Yacht club and his favorite
golf. He is a member of the committee representing this county at the
Florida show which is to be put on at the Madison Square Gardens, New
