Ocala

Ocala is located in the Central Highlands Region of Florida near the junction of US Hwy 441 and SR 40. Comprised of beautiful rolling hills and excellent pasture land it is a premiere site for thoroughbred  horse farms and is renowned for such. Ocala is also known for nearby Silver Springs, one of the largest artesian spring formations in the world.The Ocala National Forest was established in 1908and is the second largest National Forest in Florida. Ocala is the capital of Marion County.
