Daytona Beach - World's Most Famous Beach

Beach St., Daytona Beach, Courtesy of Hazel Boyd                   (postmark 1949) Community Methodist Church, Daytona Beach was organized in 1903.  The building erected in 1925 is of Old Spanish Mission design and the beautiful chimes in the great chime tower may be heard for many miles, announcing the hours of worship.  The Community Methodist is one of Florida's largest churches.

Courtesy of Hazel Boyd Elixabeth Hall is the chief building of the university and is the gift of Mr. John B. Stetson, bearing the name of his wife.  It contains the main offices and many of the classrooms in addition to the Auditorium which has a seating  caoacity of  nine hundred, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Monroe Health Museum.
