MATHEW’s Cemetery

MATHEW’s Cemetery is located in Seffner, Hillsborough Co FL. It is .8 mi north from Hwy 574 on Taylor Rd, cornering Auburn Rd; and, 2.7 mi east from I-75.

The 2 acres of land was originally given by the  Frank MATHEW’s family; and deeded as a burial ground  sometime in the 1800’s. The cemetery is enclosed by a gated chain-link fence; and covered by huge grandfather oaks hung in moss. It’s both peaceful and beautiful.

The plots are somewhat in rows...for this purpose I’ll call them rows. I’ve surveyed from north to south, front to back from Taylor Rd. I’ve read the markers as best I could. There are many  graves without headstones; marked with bricks, shells, or just indentions in the ground.

**Brackets by last names indicates a shared headstone marker.
