Rev. J. D. Murray filled his regular appointment at the Methodist church Saturday and Sunday. Miss Donnie Edgerton of Cross roads, returned home Friday after spending a week the charming guest of A. L. (Arthur Livingston) Vickers and wife (Maggie Perkins). Miss Ettie Vickers left for Tallahassee Monday where she will attend school. Miss Carrie Autrey of Whigham, Ga., was the guest Sunday of Miss Holland Perritt. She expects to teach music class here for the next month. O. N. (Oliver Noah) Chester was chewing an unusually large chew in Concord Monday; he was talking (page torn, rest is missing) Howard Gray, our l____ ladies' man, and Miss Mar___ attended divine service Sunday night. (page torn) H. O. (Harris) Perkins entertained a few of his friends Saturday night very pleasantly. Mrs. O. L. Stephens (Claudia) has returned from the hispital in Bainbridge. John Willis and Miss Claudia Kemp were among the number attending the party given by H. O. Perkins Saturday night. Miss Carrie Autrey of Whigham, Ga., is here teaching a music class. John Willis and his sister, Miss Rebecca, were the guests of Duncan McRae and sister last Sunday. Duncan Mcrae and Julian Kemp made a business trip to Thomasville last week. Lum (Columbus) Laing was a visitor to our town Sunday. |
