Local and Personal News (from a Quincy perspective)

Mssrs. J. Gus Bert and Harold Bert of Scotland, spent Sunday in town with Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Scott.

Mrs. C. J. Prentiss with children, of Indianapolis, Ind., is the guest of her sister, Mrs. A. T. Hearin. This is Mrs. Prentiss' old home and her many friends are always glad to give her a cordial welcome on her annual visit to her family.

A. S. Munroe was in town Saturday and remained over until Monday--presumably from eating too much dinner Sunday.

J. W. Mahaffey of Gretna, was in the city Saturday.

H. H. Rudd of Wetumpka, was among the visitors Saturday.

W. M. Wiggins, who is now staying at Bellmore, spent last week in the city with his family.

John Cole came home Saturday from Lake City, where he has been taking a business (course) in Columbia College.

Mrs. Samuel Dezell of Mt. Pleasant, was in the city Monday.

Mrs. R. G. (Mrs. Ross) (Sarah) Harris went to Jacksonville this week to attend a school of instruction of the O.E.S. (Order of Eastern Star), of which she is a prominent member and instructor for this district. She returned latter part of the week.
