Directions: From the traffic light (9th Ave and Hwy 27) intersection in Havana, FL, go north on U.S. Hwy. 27 to
the unincorporated community of Hinson. Turn right on Williams Street and go .2 miles, leaving pavement and going
onto a dirt road) to the cemetery on the left side of the road. It is enclosed by a chain link fence and is watched
over by two huge, old, live oak trees. The cemetery is about 1/2 acre in size and half of it is empty. It is well
maintained, but the stones appear to have never been cleaned and some are hardly readable due to the mildew from
being in the shade of the trees. Some very early Gadsden County settlers are buried here./Angela Cassidy 2006
