JOHN A. LANEHART
One of our heroes has
gone to be with the Lord. JOHN A. LANEHART, 88, passed away on Friday, November
27, 2009 at his residence. John was born on February 26, 1921 in Jacksonville,
Florida and lived in Florida most of his life. In 2003, he moved to Cypress,
Texas to be near family. John attended Taylor County High School in Perry
Florida and worked for the Florida State Road Department until he enlisted in
the Army Air Corps in 1942. He was a B-25 pilot with the 12th Bomb Group, 83rd
Squadron and flew combat missions over Sicily and Italy. On his 39th mission he
was shot down and taken POW in Stalag 1 near Barth Germany for 19 months. After
discharge as a Captain he attended the University of Florida and graduated in
1950 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was president of Lanehart
Construction Company in Bartow Florida and built roads, parking lots and
driveways all over central Florida.John is remembered by his friends and family
as a kind, generous and intelligent man who was the example of a "southern
gentleman." He inspired all of us with his patriotism and love of the United
States.John is survived by his wife Joyce; children Sandra Logan and husband
William, Rheta Lanehart, John Lanehart and wife Tracy; step children Anthony
Berretto, JoAnn Lemly and husband David, Judith Prisk and husband Thomas; 10
grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be at 10:30 on
Monday, December 7 at Klein Funeral Home-Cy Fair, 9719 Wortham Blvd, with
committal services at Houston National Cemetery at 12:30.In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the USO, American Ex-Prisoners of War or Odyssey
Hospice of Conroe.

Alver Ray MILLER
November 27, 1946 - August 12, 2014
 A lver
Ray Miller, 67, of Interlachen, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at
his home following an extended illness. A native of Jacksonville, FL,
Ray resided in Interlachen since 1980 coming from Jacksonville. He was
a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and had worked 20 years as plant
manager with Florida Rock Industries. Ray was a member of VFW post
#10164 and had attended Bethel Assembly of God in Interlachen. He
enjoyed hunting, singing and dancing and restoring old cars.
Ray is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ann Miller of Interlachen, his
mother, Ruby Ritter of Hilliard, FL, 2 sons, Elton Ray Miller of
Florahome and Alver Ray Miller, Jr. and wife Vanessa of El Paso, TX, a
daughter, Mary Margaret Dalton of Delta, PA, 2 sisters, Joann Hand and
husband Gordon and Paulette Blystone and husband David, all of
Folkston, GA, 6 grandchildren, Jimmy Raby Dalton, Justin Ray Dalton,
Joshua Ryan Dalton, Miranda Nichole Miller, Noah Austin Miller and
Alyse Jade Miller, a great-grandson, Dustin Jay Dalton and several
nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, August 14, 2014 at
Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Interlachen with Adam George and David Rye
officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM
until the services at 7:00 P.M.
Graveside services and burial will be Friday, August 15, 2014 at 2:00
P.M. at Sharpe Cemetery in Toombs County, GA with the U.S. Army
conducting military honors.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or memorial donations may be sent to
Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, 927 South SR 19, Palatka, FL
32177.

JOHNSON,
Keith Lorraine, born in Jacksonville, Fl., July 23, 1928; grew up in Waycross,
GA, joined the U.S. Army Air Corp in 1946 and retired from the USAF as Master
Sergeant in 1967. He married Barbara J. Dodd,"Bobbie", also in the Air Force, in
Houston, TX, in 1952.
After retirement Keith moved his family to Orange, CA.
Keith was a Regional Sales Manager for Stacoswitch where he retired after 24
years.
He visited every US Air Museum; collected World War II airplane models
and pictures. He was was a HAM Radio operator with a call sign of KC6EAR, which
now can be reached n Heaven. Keith was active in the Saddleback Church serving
as greeter for over 12 years and actively participated in Bible study groups
held at their home.
Keith loved his family and God, and was surrounded by his
loved ones when he passed peacefully away on August 28, 2010. Keith is survived
by his wife Bobbie of 58 years; his son, Roger and Roger's wife, Juanita, their
sons Preston and Brandon of Foothill Ranch, CA. He is also survived by his
daughter, Joy and her husband Ken of Canyon, TX. His service will be held at
Saddleback Church on Friday, September 3rd, at 2:00 p.m. in the Plaza Room, with
reception to follow.
Donations may be made at your discretion to the
Salvation Army or American Cancer Society.
Keith finally got his angel wings
so he can fly into the wild blue yonder. We love you and will miss you.
