These obituaries are of people buried in Anderson Cemetery.  It is a private family cemetery.  
Location: From U.S. 17 (Main Street) take New Berlin Road until there is 
a 45 degree angle to the right. Do not turn. Go straight, picking up
Cedar Point Road. Continue for 4 miles. There will be a clump of large
trees and a gate with a large post on either side. The small,
well-maintained cemetery is just a few yards down the lane from the gate,
on the right.

SALLAS- Gomez Sallas, 7 ___ of Palmer St. Mayport, died yesterday in a Jacksonville hospital after a ______ illness. He was a native of Mayport and lived there all of his life. He was a commercial fisherman. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church Jacksonville Beach. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Sallie Sallas, one daughter, Mrs. Leon Canova of Mayport: two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Floyd of Jacksonville and Mrs. Alice Burroughs of Tampa; two grandchildren Raymond and Dan Singleton of Mayport, and one great-grandson, John N. Singleton of Mayport. 

Funeral services will be held at ___ a.m. Monday in St. Paul Catholic Church with the Most Rev. Thomas McDonough officiating. Pallbearers will be F. A. Sallas, James _____, Charlie Drew, Arnold Thomas, William Andreu, and William Bryant. The Rosary will be recited tomorrow at ___ p.m. in the Chapel of Giddens? Beach Funeral Home.
