Isaac Thomas and Mary Jane Bird
(Byrd) Williams.
Mary Elizabeth Williams married her first husband (#1 ),
Robert
Cockman Lee in 1902 in Desoto County,Florida, Robert,born 17 Sept.1875
in Levi County and died, 28 October,1921,burial is in Gardner
Cemetery,Hardee
County,Florida. Robert was the son of William Hillard Lee and
Catherine McCloud.
Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Williams and Robert
Cockman Lee had the following children :
(a) Minnie Lee was born 11 July 1904 in Gardner,Hardee
Co.,Fl.
and died 6 July 1996 in Jacksonville, Duval County,Florida,She was
married about 1920 to William David Shaw born 14 July 1896 in Bradford
( now Union ) County,Florida and died 25 April 1980 in Keystone
Heights,Bradford Co.,Fl.
(b) Cornelius Lee was born 8 Feb.1905 in Gardner,Hardee
Co.,Fl.
and died 2 Feb. 1964 in Jacksonville,Duval Co.,Fl. He was married to
Gladys McCall born 11 April 1912; and died 15 Sept 1997.
(c) Henry H. Lee was born 28 Nov.1909 in Gardner,Hardee
Co.,Fl.
and died Aug. 1981 in Florida. He was married to Minnie Mae
Dyal.
Mary Elizabeth " Lizzie " Williams was married to
her
second husband ( #2 ) William Lee ( Landwick ) Heathcoe born 01
Jan.
1874 and died 18 Jan. 1946 in Hillsborough County,Florida.
Mary Elizabeth Williams Lee Heathcoe and William
Lee Heathcoe had 2 children:
(a) William Lodwick Heathcoe(aka; J.R. Not Jr.) born 7
Feb.1927
and died 12 Nov.1982. William married several times and had 9 children
total,
(b) Irene Elizabeth Heathcoe is the last living
child of
William Lee Heathcoe and last living child of Mary Elizabeth Williams
Lee Heathcoe.( Irene passed away 22 June, 2011 in Live Oak Florida. )
It has
been told to me, by Ed Shaw, that Mary
Elizabeth was a crack shot with a shot gun,she would often compete in
Turkey shoots taking home the prize.
Not much
is known about Robert
Cockman Lee at this time by me, If one finds info on this page is wrong
