William L. Dail, Sr. 79, Lakeland, died Wednesday. He was born in Norman Park, Georgia, and had lived in Florida since 1919. He was a member of the Medulla Baptist Church and a retired Grace Chemical Co. employee.
> Survivors include: His wife; Mrs. J. Alleta Snow Dail, Lakeland; 4 sons; John, William, Joe and Charlie Dail, all of Lakeland; 5 daughters; Mrs. Richard Parker and Mrs. Steve Murariu, both of Lakeland, Mrs. H. L. Reynolds, Hallandale, Mrs. M. M. Meradith, Fort Pierce, Mrs. Tony Bell, Palmetto; 2 brothers; Leon Dail, Lakeland, and Lester Dail, Davenport; 3 sisters; Mrs. Lury Taylor and Mrs. Jewell Chapman, Davenport, and Mrs. Bessie Snow, Palmetto; 26 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Lakeland.

> Funeral Service for William L. Dail,Sr. -  who died Wednesday ( Nov.21, 1973 )  of Dail Road, Medulla, will be held Friday, at the Medulla Church. The Rev. Hubert Barnes, Pastor of the Gapway Baptist Church will officiate, Interment will be in the Fitzgerald Cemetery.
> DAIL, RUTH  LOYCE - 18 -  ( Monday, July 22, 1957 ) -
  Medulla- Miss Ruth Loyce Dail, 18, died suddenly of a heart attack last night while attending church in Birmingham, Ala. She was visiting her brother-in-law and sister , the Rev.  and Mrs. Richard Parker. Miss Dail had attended Medulla and Mulberry schools. She was a member of the Medulla Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, She was engaged to wed Freddy Golden of Lakeland in December. > Survivors are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William L. Dail, Sr.; 5 brothers; John of Kathleen, Billy, Bobby and Charles of Lakeland, and Joe, United States Army, Fort Bragg, N.C. ; 4 sisters; Mrs. Richard ( Doris ) Parker, Birmingham,Ala., Mrs. J. ( Patsy ) Rodgers, Wilmington, Del., Mrs. H. L.( Vivian ) Reynolds, Auburndale, and Mrs. M. M. ( Joyce ) Meredith, Guam. Services will be announced later by, Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home.

 Jennie Snow Dail - Homemaker - Lakeland- Mrs.Jennie Alleta Snow Dail of Lakeland, died Monday ( Sept. 13, 1999) atTandem Health Care of Lakeland. She was 93. Born  in Palm View on August 16, 1906, she came to Lakeland from Palmetto in 1933. She was a member of Medulla Baptist Chuch. > She was preceded in death by her husband ; William L. Dail, Sr. who passed away in 1973,  > She is survived by; her sons,  John Edwin Dail, Mill Springs, N.C., and, Joseph Julius " Joe" Dail, and Charles Lee Dail, both of Lakeland. -daughters; Doris Marie Parker, Palm Bay, Vivian Ruth Reynolds, Gwendolyn Joyce Kirkby, and Patsy Anita Bell, all of Lakeland, and Pamela Kay Watts, Stamford,Neb; 28 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren.  Ella Jewel Dail Taylor Chapman was a long time resident of Davenport, she passed away Tuesday,November 8, 2011. Ella was born on Feb. 7, 1915 in Sylvester , Ga., to William and Maggie Dail. > Ella was preceded in death by; 4 brothers; Leonard and Leon Dail of Lakeland, Lonnie Dail of Ruskin and Lester Dail of Davenport.; 2 sisters, Lury Dean Taylor of Davenport and Bessie Lou Snow of Palmetto. Ella Jewel was blessed to marry the love of her life, Henry Taylor, who preceded her in death in 1956. > She was predeceased by her 3 sons, Kenneth and Jerry Taylor of Davenport, Norman Taylor of Auburndale , and one grandson, Jerry Taylor, Jr., All  3 sons grew up to serve teir country and Kenneth passed while in the line of duty in Korea. > Jewel is survived by her daughter Peggy Sue Taylor of Florida,, along with her 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  Ella Jewel was a beautiful Southern Lady who loved life, her Lord and cherrished time with her family,her last days were spent surrounded by her family and has now joined loved ones waiting in Heaven.  Funeral Services held at Oak Ridge Funeral Home in Haines City, Fl. on Nov.13.

> Mrs. Maggie Isabelle DAIL , 81, of Davenport, died Wednesday Aug. 24, 1955, at the home of her daughter following a long illness. Maggie was born in Georgia, April 8, 1874, and in 1919 moved to Palmetto. In 1923 she moved to Davenport. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Davenport. > Maggie is survived by 4 sons; W. L. and Leon, both of Lakeland, Lonnie of Ruskin and Lester of Davenport; 3 daughters, Mrs. W. H. Snow of Palmetto,  Mrs. B. H. Taylor and Mrs. W. H. Taylor, both of Davenport; 26 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Services were held at the Baptist Church in Davenport on Sat. Aug. 27, 1955, with the Rev. Herman Daniels of Elba, Ala. and Prentiss Padgett of the Main Street Baptist Church of Bartow, officiating. Dail, Mulberry Road, after a brief illness. > His surviving relatives beside his widow and daughter, are a son, W. H. SNOW, Jr., of Palmetto; a twin brother, Walter, of St. Petersburg; another brother, Joe of Weston, Mass; 2 sisters, Mrs. J. M. McClain, of Fort Green, and Mrs. J. L. > Mrs. William H. ( Jennie ) SNOW - age 80, died yesterday at the home of her dughter, Mrs. W. L. Dail, Route 1, after a long illness.  Jennie was a native of Jackson, Miss. she moved to Palmetto in 1885 and to Lakeland in 1933. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Palmetto. Mr. Snow died in February. > Surviving Jennie is one son, Harry Snow, Palmetto; one daughter, Mrs. Dail; one sister, Mrs. Edna Moran, of Palmetto; one brother, Jim JACKSON, also of Palmetto, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home in Palmetto, Fl. - ( Monday Aug. 1947 )
> FOREHAND, Virginia DAIL - 75 -  Clermont - Virginia Dail Forehand – 
Virginia passed away Aug. 17, 2009.She was born May 16, 1934 in Norfolk, Virginia, the daughter of the late Julian Forehand and Gladys PARRISH Forehand. Virginia was united in marriage on Dec. 5, 1953 to Robert Lee Dail and they made their home in Virginia Beach until 1981 when they decided to make their home in Central Florida. She was a Mortgage Banker for 39 years, and very active in her church, First Baptist of Montverde. > Virginia is survived by; her husband Robert Dail ; son Brent Lee Dail and wife Judi; daughter Susan Dail SMITH and husband Bill, all of Clermont; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; brother Ralph R. FOREHAND and wife Jennifer of Elkton, MD.. Funeral services for Virginia Dail Forehand will be held Friday, Aug. 12, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Montverde, with Pastor Jonathan Winningham officiating.
Interment in Woodlawn Memorial Park with visitation one half hour before service.Clermont, Lake County-

Mill Spring, N.C. – John Edwin Dail, formerly of Lakeland, Fl., passed away Sept. 27, 2009. He was born in Calhoun, Fl. and was a retired industrial painter. He was a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church, in Mill Spring, N.C. >Surviving John are his wife, Lois E. LANCASTER/DAIL ; sons, Richard, Rodney and Robert “Tony” Dail, all of Lakeland,Fl.; daughters, Terry HIERS and Judy DICKINSON both of Lakeland,Fl. ;brothers, Charles and Joseph Dail, both of Lakeland, Fl.; and sisters, Doris PARKER of Palm Bay, Fl., Joyce KIRBY and Vivian REYNOLDS, both of Lakeland,Fl.
