Funeral Services
Thursday, March 16,1922

Mrs. Park Trammell, wife of Senator Park Trammell had been ill for sometime,
 Mrs.Trammell has been seriously ill in an Orlando hospital for sometime since an operation several days ago. The senator has been at her bedside.
 The funeral services for Mrs.Park Trammell, will be held in Lakeland this morning at 11:45 and will be held at the Gentry - Futch chapel until 2:00 at which time the body will lie in state at the First Baptist Church to the hour for the funeral service, which will be conducted by Rev. W.J.Bolin, pastor of the First Baptist Church.
 Interment will take place in Roselawn Cemetery.
Judge John S.Edwards, judge of the Circuit Court, adjourned that body yesterday until Friday out of respect for Mrs.Trammell.
Mrs.Park Trammell ,42, wife of junior senator from Florida died at a local hospital at 11:00 tonight after an illness of several weeks.
 Mrs.Trammell was born at Apopka,Orange County, and spent her entire
life in Florida,with the exception of the time she spent in Washington after
Mr.Tammell was elected United States Senator.
 She is widely known in all parts of the state,having managing Mr. Trammel's campaign for govenor and senator. Mr.Trammell left Washington to be by her side when his wife's illness took a serious turn.
 Mrs.Trammell is survived besides her husband her father,Col. Thomas C. Darby of  Crescent  City. two sisters; Mrs. C.P. Dickinson and Mrs.George Phillips of this city. ( Lakeland ) one brother; Thomas C. Darby, Jr.
 who lives in Jacksonville.
