"HARLAN" McCALL, 74
ARCADIA - William "Harlan" McCall, Born February 18, 1938 in Arcadia, FL, passed away on December 13, 2012 in Arcadia, FL after a valiant fight with numerous health conditions. Harlan spent his early years until retirement in the financial business, starting with Seaboard Financial Services in Arcadia and retiring from 1st Federal of Florida in Lakeland, FL as Vice-President over the Consumer Loan Department. Before and after retirement, Harlan enjoyed working the family grove at Joshua Creek and Hwy. 31. Harlan was a loving family man, wonderful friend, boss and co-worker who thoroughly enjoyed making people laugh. He also enjoyed traveling, especially to the mountains, camping, boating, fishing, cars and spending time with his family. Harlan is survived by his dear and loving wife of 50 years, Dorathea Parker McCall, his children Rhonda (Joseph) Alain of Denham Springs, LA, Mickey McCall of Sebring, FL, a brother, Freddie (Patsy) McCall of Arcadia, and six grandchildren. He is preceded in
death by his parents:
William "Leo" McCall and Lillian Estelle McCall.

WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Sylvester McCall of Winter Haven died
of heart failure Wednesday (Jan. 5, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical
Center.
Born
in Elba, Ala., he came
to Lakeland in 1935. He
was a retired machine operator for Florida Power and Light. He was an
Army sergeant and a veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. McCall is survived by his wife, Sarah Diane
McCall; sons,
Douglas McCall, Miami, David Westley McCall, Maryland,
Rodney and Greg McCall, both of Katie, Texas; daughters, Sandra McCall,
Lake Mary; brother,
Willis McCall, Winter Haven; seven grandchildren.

FROSTPROOF - Idell McCall of Frostproof passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 at her residence, due to natural causes. She was born June 17, 1915 in Brevard, NC, to the late William Oliver and Lora Mae (Galloway)Tinsley; and came to Frostproof in 1933 from Brevard, NC. Idell was a homemaker, a retired employee of Ben Hill Griffin, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof, where she served as Sunday School Secretary for over 40 years. She loved quilting, crocheting, and making crafts. Idell loved being with people and going out to dinner. > Idell was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph McCall; three children, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. > Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers,

LAKELAND -- Mrs. Alice E. McCall of Lakeland
died of heart failure Tuesday (July 25, 2006) at Highlands Lake Center.
She was 94. Born in Marianna on Dec. 2, 1911, she was a longtime
resident of Lakeland. She was a sectionizer for Ben Hill Griffin Inc.
in Bartow. She was a Baptist. > Mrs. McCall was preceded in death by her
husband, Amos R. McCall. >She is survived by her daughters,

Alzheimer's disease Tuesday (May 3, 2005) at Brandywyne Lakeside Center
in Winter Haven. Born
in Fort Meade on June 14, 1927, she came to Bartow from
Bowling Green 20 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of
Payne's Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Bowling Green.
Mrs.
McCall was preceded in
death by her husband, Lester
S. McCall. >She is
survived by her son, Jerry
McCall, Bartow; daughter, Cindy Warren,
Wauchula; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
