ELMER “BILL” GROOVER FUSSELL – 81 -Cattle Rancher -
As a cattle rancher, Mr. Elmer "Bill" Groover Fussell spent long days tending to his ranch. In his down time, he went fishing. "He loved to get out before daybreak and then get to moving," his niece, Carolyn Fussell of Polk City, said. "He would get up about 3 a.m., have breakfast, and he would be ready to go by the time daylight broke."
The lifelong resident of Polk City died of heart failure Thursday (Sept. 23, 2004) at Auburndale Oaks Nursing Home. He was 81.

He loved to raise guineas. He liked to go to the farmers' market, or a market where you could buy pigs or chickens or guineas," Carolyn Fussell said. He was an active member of Mount Olive Baptist Church of Polk City.

She was his step-mother.

There is an error in the obit.
