29th. Anniversary Observed

29th. anniversary of the organization of the New Home Baptist Church will be celebrated Sunday and the homecoming dayprogram will be featured by sermons and messages by all former pastors of the church who are present. There will be special music and congregational singing throughout the day.
  Members, formembers and friends of the church are asked to take basket dinners, which will be spread during the noon intermission.
 The general program is as follows;  10 a.m. Sunday school and church service; address by Dr. W. H. Anderson, superintendent of First Baptist Sunday School, Winter Haven; sermon by Rev. Steve McClelland, first pastor of the New Home Church.; 12:45 p.m. fellowship dinner. 2 p.m., anniversary service; welcome by Sam Tyner; greetings by Rev. C. N. Walker, representing the South Florida Baptist association. Presentation of representatives from Mount Tabor Church; messages from former pastors, Rev. W. D. Entzminger, Rev. L. O. Calhoun, Rev. Angus McClelland, Rev. John R. Totty; reading of the church history, Scott Walker, clerk; public testimony. 8 p.m., song service followed by a sermon by Bascom S. Sutton, second pastor of the New Home Church.
