MR. BOBBY G. GATLIN – 71 - Gatlin Inc.
EAGLE LAKE -- Mr. Bobby G. Gatlin of Eagle Lake died of heart failure Tuesday (July 26, 2005) in Eagle Lake. He was 71.
 Born Sept. 24, 1933, in Rock-AWay, Ala., Mr. Gatlin came here from Alabama in 1950. He owned Gatlin Inc. of Eagle Lake from 1969 to 1999. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Eagle Lake.
 Mr. Gatlin is survived by his wife, Lois Gatlin, Eagle Lake; son, Gary Gatlin, Eagle Lake; daughters, Connie Gatlin, Ocala, and Patti Orta, St. Cloud; four grandchildren.
Visitation will be, Saturday at Ott-Laughlin Winter Haven.
Graveside services will follow at Eagle Lake Cemetery. – Ledger, July 29, 2005

EAGLE LAKE - Gary Lynn Gatlin, 57, of Eagle Lake, FL died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Residence Center in Auburndale due to renal cancer.
 Born December 30, 1955 in Winter Haven, he was a lifelong resident of Eagle Lake. He was the Owner of Gatlin Inc., a industrial refrigeration contractor. He was a member of the Eagle Lake Church of Christ; loved competition BBQ and was a member of the "Kick Yo Butt" BBQ team; loved to fish and spend time with his family and grandson.
 Preceded in death by his father, Bobby Gene Gatlin,
 Gary is survived by: his wife, Charlsie Chapman Gatlin; a son, Robert Gatlin; a daughter, Miranda Gatlin and her husband Bracken; his mother Lois Jean Gray Gatlin; two sisters, Patti Orta and her husband Elihu and Connie Gatlin; and a grandson, Braxton Smith.
 The family will receive friends, Friday, January 4, 2013 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Boulevard, Winter Haven.
