ROWENA B. "GRANNY PETE" POLLARD - 92 – Homemaker

FORT MEADE - Mrs. Rowena B. "Granny Pete" Pollard, passed Friday, March 5, 2010 at Vista Manna Nursing Home in Titusville, FL of heart failure. Mrs. Pollard was born Feb., 14, 1918 and was a lifelong resident of the Bereah and Fort Meade area. She was a homemaker and member of the Corinth Primitive Baptist Church.

 Mrs. Pollard was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Lamar Pollard and her son, Jim Pollard.

> She is survived by her son, Gerald Pollard, Mims, FL; daughter, LaVone Yarbrough, Fort Meade; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
 Visitation will be held Wed., March 10, 2010 at Hancock Funeral Home, Fort Meade. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with interment following in Corinth Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Hancock Funeral Home, Fort Meade. 863-285-8171 – March 8, 2010
