DUNDEE -- Mrs. Ruby
Lee McLeod of Dundee died of heart and lung failure March 3, 2004, at
Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center. She was born in Macon,
Ga., on July 14, 1921, she came to Dundee from there 80 years ago. She
was a homemaker. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist
Church in Dundee. > Mrs. McLeod
was preceded in death by her husband. > She is
survived by her daughters, Alberta Fields, Lake Wales, Rosetta Sealey,
Mary Etta Coy, both of Dundee; 24 grandchildren; 64
great-grandchildren; five great-great -grandchildren. Visitation
will be Friday at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Services will
be Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Dundee Community Cemetery.

DUNDEE -- Ms. Doris L. Helms of Dundee died of
pneumonia Friday (Nov. 5, 2004) in Palm Garden of Winter Haven. She was born Sept. 13, 1911, in Pinckard, Ala., she came here from Alabama
in 1944. She was a grader for Dundee Citrus Growers Association for 44
years. She was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Lake
Hamilton. > Ms. Helms is survived by her daughter, Shirley A. Morrow, Lake
Hamilton; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three
great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Oak Ridge Funeral
Care Chapel, Haines City. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the
