Crave R.
Davis, of Bartow, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Good
Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale of natural causes. Born on December
11, 1916 in
Sunbright, TN, Mr. Davis had
been a local resident for
the last 70 years
working
for W.R. Grace and Co. as a dragline operator and a metal
layout.
Mr. Davis was a Navy Seabee in WWII.
He was a
member of V.F.W. #2405, Seabees X2, and also was a Mason, a Shriner,
and member the Order of the Eastern Star, Tropical Chapter #38. He was
also a member of the Rock Collection Club of Bartow. Mr.
Davis is
preceded in death by an infant son, Crave Robert Davis, Jr. > He
is
survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 67 years
Lotis S. Davis,
two sons; Ronald Davis Cindy , and Larry Davis both Bartow,
grandchildren James Davis of Bartow, Troy Davis of LA, Mandy Turner
Terry of Bartow, and a great grandson, Devin Turner. He also leaves
behind a brother, William Arthur Davis, Sr. of NC and sister Lois
Heidel of Chattanooga, TN. Arrangements are being handled by
Whidden-McLean Funeral Home 650 East Main Street where family will
receive friends on Sunday, November 4, 2007. Graveside services will
follow Monday, November 5, 2007 at 11 00 AM at Wildwood Cemetery
in Bartow.

BARTOW - Lotis S. Davis, passed away Friday, December 5,
2014, in
Bartow. Born January 31,
1919, in Bartow, Mrs. Davis
was
a lifelong resident and a
homemaker. Lotis was a member of the First United Methodist Church of
Bartow, the Order of the Eastern Star, Tropical Chapter #38, the Gem
and Mineral Club, and the Seabee wives.
Mrs. Davis is preceded in death her husband Crave
Davis. >
She is survived by her two sons: Ronald Davis (Cindy) of Bartow, Larry
Davis of Bartow, two sisters: Oleta Louzenheiser of Tucson, AZ, Mildred
Smith of Arlington, TX, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 15th, 2014 at
Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Graveside services will follow
on Tuesday, Dec. 16th, 2014 at 10:00 am at Wildwood Cemetery
in Bartow.
