Wayne B. – 76 – Passed away October 27, 2011. Mr.
Bryant was born in Lakeland, October 17, 1935, he was a life long
resident. Wayne was a farmer and a rancher and he had a love for
Christian music, He was very proud of his grandchildren.
Mr. Bryant was preceded in
death by his brother; Charles Bryant.
Wayne is survived by
daughters; Debbie Judd, Carol Bryant, and Laura Testerman;
brothers; Irvin Bryant, James Bryant Harry Bryant and John Bryant;
sister, Joyce Kendrick. 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at
Lanier Funeral Home Chapel. Services also held at the funeral home on
Monday,Oct.31, 2011.
Interment will be in Socrum Cemetery.

Toliver - 38 - Thomas Toliver Bryant, who had been making his home in
Detroit for the past year, died there late Tuesday after and operation.
Thomas was 38.
Thomas is survived by a brother, C. Bronson Bryant of Balboa,
C.Z. and 3 sisters; Mrs. M. L. McIntosh of Jacksonville, Mrs.
T.
E. Rogers of Plant City, and Mrs. W. Y. Wooten of Lakeland.
The body was brought back to Lakeland and arrived Friday
morning.

- Funeral services for Adolphus
Asbury Bryant, who died
Friday night at
his home, 710 Peachtree Street will be held this afternoon from Free
Methodist Church with Rev. E. C. Wills officiating. The body will lie
in state for 30 minutes before services begin..
Intrement will be in Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of
the
Futch Funeral Home. Mr. Bryant was born in Tenessee April 26, 1850,
came here 35 years ago from Kentucky.
Mr Bryant is survived by his widow, Mrs. M. A. Bryant; 2
sons,
Cecil Bryant of Immokalee, and Admiral Bryant of Lakeland; 3 daughters,
Mrs. R. H. Lingie, Mrs. J. S. Starling and Mrs. O. S. Barry of Lakeland.
Mr. Bryant had been ill for 3 weeks and was moved from the

Funeral services - Ledger, Wed., May 7, 1947
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah C. Bryant, who died Monday,
were
held from Bethel Baptist Church yesterday. The Rev. Albert Joiner and
the Rev. C. N. Walker officiated. A trio consisting of Jo Anne
and
Zelda Harrell and Jo Anna Adams
, accompanied by Carolyn Cash, sang, "Farther Along", "Heavens of
Rest," and "Never Grow Old.". Honary pallbearers included W. D. Harp,
K. C. Cockerel, I. Q.
Mize, H. L. Costine, D. E. Bridges, J. C. Mitchell, John Rutledge and
E. H. Wilder. Among the active pallbearers were W. H. Horace
and
T. V. Costine,
Edgar Wilder, H. L. Palmer and W. H. Bridges.
Interment was at Socrum Cemetery with Smith and Dukes Funeral
Home in charge.

LAKE WALES - Rev. Ed
Bryant, 85, of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the Lake
Wales Medical Center due to heart failure.He was born February 20, 1927
in Babson Park to the late
HANNIE W. & MATTIE
KISER BRYANT; he was a lifelong resident of this area. His pastorates
included First Baptist Church, Jan Phyl Village in Winter Haven,
Central Avenue Baptist Church in Lake Wales from 1968 until 1992,
retired from 1992 until 1996, First Baptist Church of Alturas from 1996
until 2000 and retired again in 2000. He also retired from the Lake
Wales Post Office in 1982 after 35 years and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the
U.S. Army. He enjoyed
reading and studying scripture.
Rev. Bryant was preceded in death by his wife, TINA M. Bryant
in
1993.
Survivors include his two sons, David W. Bryant (Cheryl ) of
Lake
Wales and Michael A. McDuffie JuVonne of Daleville, AL; sister, Mae
WATSON of Lake Wales; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012 and
the
funeral service will be held Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the
Marion
Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with David W. Bryant and Michael A.
McDuffie officiating.
Interment
will follow at the Lake Wales

LAKELAND - Craig Alan Bryant,
Sr., 62 of Lakeland, died February 11,
2012 due to heart failure.
Craig was born February 11, 1950
in Gordo, Alabama to Rufus and Mary
(Hall) Bryant and moved to Lakeland more than 25 years ago. Craig is a Vietnam
War
Army
veteran and owned Acoustical Services, Inc. of Lakeland.
He is preceded in death by his father and is survived by his mother,
Mary Bryant of Leesburg; his son, Craig (Cindy) Bryant, Jr. of
Lakeland; his daughters, Alicia and Cary Bryant both of Lakeland; his
step-daughter, Tracy Kelley of Oxford, FL; his sisters, Veda (Gary)
Folds of Belle Glade, FL and Cynthia (Dewey) Smith of Leesburg; his
brother, Johnny (Karen) Bryant of Winter Garden, FL and his five
grandchildren, Garrett Kelley, Craig Bryant III, McKenna Stepp,
Kingston and Sir'Kirion Hardy.
Friends will be received Saturday at the Lakeland Funeral Home chapel
where funeral services will be held that morning.
Military
honors will follow the service in Lakeland Memorial Gardens
