Wauchula
died Friday, December 27, 2002 in Branford, Florida. He was born in
Bradenton, Florida and was a resident of Wauchula for 18 years,
coming from Manatee County, Florida. He was the pastor of Crewsville
Baptist Church.
He
was preceded in death by his sister, Lucille Hayden of Bradenton, Fla.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Evelyn Rawls
Durrance; four brothers, H.A. Durrance of Palmetto, Fla., Donald A.
Durrance of Bradenton, Fla., Ned Durrance of Bradenton, Fla., and
Roland Durrance of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Pat D. Rich of Oveido,
Fla., and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday,
December 30, 2002 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Robarts Family Funeral
Home in Wauchula. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday,
December 31, 2002, 10 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev.
Robert Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist

Lake Placid, formerly of Bowling Green, went to
be with her Lord on Friday morning November 30, 2012, at the Kenilworth
Care and Rehab Center in Sebring. She was born in Wauchula on
March 22, 1930. She moved to Lake Placid in 1971 and was a
member of the First Presbyterian Church Lake Placid.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rodney; daughter, Denise Mote and son Rev. Joe F. Choate, Jr. Mrs. Durrance is survived by loving children, David
Thomas Choate and Renee Choate; 13 grandchildren, 17 great
grandchildren and 2 brothers, Joe and John Jones. A graveside service
to celebrate Mary's life will be held 2:00 pm Monday December 3, 2012,
at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, FL with Rev. Ray

A native of
Sebring, resident of Knoxville, Tenn. since April, and former
36-year resident of Gainesville, Fla., son of the late Robert Neil
and Karen Nell Hinckley Durrance, died Wednesday, October
12, 2005, at Brakebill Nursing Home in Knoxville. He was a member
of
Church Street United Methodist Church, Knoxville, and former member of
Trinity United Methodist Church of Gainesville and First United
Methodist Church of Sebring. He graduated from the University
of Florida, where he was
a member of the Alpha Tau Omega (ATO) Fraternity and retired from
Florida Farm Bureau. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Neil was a former member of the Sebring Rotary Club, avid fisherman, hunter, golfer, and
Gator fan. And most of all, "Devoted Father".
He was
also
preceded in death by his sisters, Martha Howett and Ruth Rudasill. He
is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia "Patty" Pearce
Durrance; son, Neil (Rebecca) Durrance; grandson, Pearce Durrance,
all of Knoxville; sisters-in-law, Ruth Fulton, Evelyn (Charles)
Johnson, all of Sebring, Mildred Pearce of Okeechobee, Fla.;
brothers-in-law, John Howett of Tampa, Fla. and Smith Rudasill of
Sebring; several nieces and nephews.
Mr.
Durrance
will be taken to Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Sebring, where
a 1 p.m. chapel service will be conducted Tuesday, October 18, 2005,
with Rev. Ron Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest
Cemetery Sebring, Fl. In lieu of flowers, the family request
memorials be made
to the National Parkinson's Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Ave., Bob Hope

Ft. Myers, Fla.,
Willard
died late Friday evening, July 4, 2014, in Bonita Springs, Fla. He was
in the companionship of his loving family. Daniel was born September
9, 1942, in Ft. Green, Fla. He was the son of Ms.
Bonita Duncan and Willard Dow Durrance. Daniel has been a
resident of the Ft. Myers area for 33 years and a lifelong citrus
grower in Collier Co. He also was a fertilizer rep for IMC and
Florida Favorite. Daniel served in the National Guard.
Daniel is
survived by his
wife, Sharon Y. Pollard Durrance; daughter, Melanie Lyn Daughtry
(Rusty); and son, Craig Daniel Durrance.
The family will
receive
friends Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the Placid Temple Church of God.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Placid Temple
with Pastor Jack Cochran celebrating. Burial will follow at the Oak
Hill Cemetery Lake Placid. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be

Lake Placid,
Florida, died Monday afternoon, July 14, 2014. Doyal was born in Sebring, Florida,
September 19, 1936. He was the son of Ms. Frances Crews and Joe
Durrance. Doyal was a lifelong Lake Placid resident. He was
a self-employed caladium farmer and cattle farmer all his life. He was
a Christian in faith.
Doyal is
survived by his sons, Ricky and Dale; siblings, Nina Mullins and
Jearldeen Clifton; and grand-children, Tyler, Gunner, Greyson and
Elizabeth.
Friends will
be received from 5:00 to 7:00 pm this evening at the Rising Son Church
in Lake Placid. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 pm Friday, July
18, also at the church. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery Lake

Eugene of Turkey
Creek, departed this life Wednesday, March 11, 2009. He was a member of
Turkey Creek First Baptist Church.
He is
survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Jean Durrance; his
daughters, Diane Durrance and Donna Calderoni and her husband, Ronnie;
his sister, Christine Logue and her husband, Lamar; his grandchildren,
Erica, Bryan, Ashleigh, Duran and Ariel; and great-grandchildren, Emma
and Lexie; and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation will take place Friday, March 13, 2009 at Hopewell Funeral
