Springs set aside land so those of the community could be buried free,
Residents of today still are. No one is sure just on how many people are buried here. To visit this cemetery, go to the post office and ask the postmaster for the key. Then travel down a dirt road shaded by pine trees and you will come to a locked gate, beyond which lies the cemetery. In the summer remember to bring your repellent, the bugs here bite. People come here to visit the graves of relatives and to place flowers on the stones, they also come to help in the maintaining of the cemetery grounds. |
