Alfred
Soar, 80, of Dade City, passed away Wednesday. Mr.Soar was born near
Dade City, he had lived in Miami, Fl., from 1914 - 1962 where he had
been for 25 years, President of Local Independent Union of Crane
Operating Engineers,. Mr. Soar returned to Dade City in 1962, he
retired from crane operations in 1966. He was a Navy Veteran of WWI ,
He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and the Ameriican Legion in
Dade City. He is survived by his wife,
Hazel one son: Robert S.Soar 2 sisters; Mrs. Mable Brown & Mrs. Nina Taggert 1 brother; Stanton Soar 2 grandchildren Steve and Linda. Friends may call at the Coleman and Ferguson Funeral Home, after 2 p.m. Friday where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. E.C.Tyner, officiating. Burial will be in Floral Memory Gardens |
